Fi couldn't decide on an embroidery design, so gave me free reign!

Took me awhile to decide, in the end this gorgeous butterfly design won ... embroidered on a mint minkee with a lovely soft purple microfleece inner.

Bree has completed the final quality control inspection and the nappies are up for previewing on BabyHosen right now!

After slaving for weeks over the embroidery and sewing machines, I have finally finished snapping all the gorgeous nappies ready for the store.

Loving this embroidery stuff!

Since I now only have a little girl in nappies, I ten to lean towards creating girly type of nappies.

Not this time .... though my husband was trying to snaffle this one for Bree ... this is one the boys can wear!

A Korean Dragon embroidered on a gorgeous midnight blue minkee ... the picture doesn't do it justice .... but I'd have to say this is my favourite so far!

Owls and Cupcakes!

This has been a very productive week-end ... I've managed to embroider a 'cupcake' nappy and also finish the Owl Eyes.

On a gorgeous antique rose minkee is this cute little cupcake design ... a very girly nappy

My husbands favourite is the Owls Eyes ... so my gorgeous little chubba grabbed this nappy and doesn't she look cute in it too! While not everyone's cup of tea, I fell in love with the owl eyes as soon as I saw them.

I've finally had a chance to play around with my new baby ... a Janome Embroidery Machine.

After spending the last couple of weeks drooling over the thousands of designs available out there, I've finally bitten the bullet and embroidered a design.

Here is the result .... on a light weight denim we have one for the frog lovers and of course a matching green microfleece inner.

The fingers are aching from all the snapping ... but it means I'm nearly there! The shelves of BabyHosen will be re-stocked on Friday, 24th April.

The stock will slowly go up throughout the day for preview and then go live at 8:30pm Brisbane time.

This stocking will have a range of sizes, small, medium and larges all in the quick dry version - just in time for winter.

After another busy month of sewing ... I finally have a few custom orders ready and on their way to their new homes .... The first order was for some lovely minkee nappies black blankee minkee with a gorgeous emerald green inner, cobolt blue blankee minkee with a froggie print inner and a favourite of mine, a denim nappy, complete with hip pocket and a black inner.

And another order for a froggie obsessessed person .... lol. I made up a custom camo print frog wetbag, a black blankee minkee nappy with a froggie print inner and a dark purple minkee nappy.

Now the next sewing project is the night nappies ... testers are lined up, now to get sewing!

Another week of broken sewing days ... sigh ... children, who'd have them ... lol. A sneak peak at a couple of custom nappies off to their new home ... I love the embossed minkee!

While I had the embossed minkee out I also made up a cute side snapping white embossed minkee with an aqua inner ... very pretty!

Finally, I've begun to sew up the funky cotton prints shipped from the US a few months ago.

The prints have become funky wetbags!

The wetbags are a min. 30 x 25cm, have a PUL liner sewn in separately and are secured with a super strong touch tape to make sure all messes and smells are contained.

And of course there is a removable handle so you can easily attach the wetbag to a pram or outside of the nappy bag!

The GDUNH is here again! And I have been madly sewing ... though alot of my stock has been snapped up before it even hit the store.

Just in time for this hunt I have released the BabyHosen side snapping AI2. Still with the same underbelly design, but now trimmer and side snapping.

Also released in both designs is the fast drying AI2 ... perfect for winter. This nappy has no hidden soaker ... allowing the drying process to be sped up considerably.

Don't you just love my little model! Alex just loves posing in his BabyHosen nappies and no he isn't even my child. :)

Alex, who the camera loves, adores the photographer, Leen from Vanilla Dawn Photography and is only too happy to model his lovely cloth bum.

So thank you Alex and of course mum Jen for being my little model.

Well it's left the US and is on the way here!

That's right, some glorious minkee has been ordered and will hopefully reach me here in Aus soon. As I'd love to have it sewn up and in-store in time for the GDUNH!

Custom orders have filled my workload for the next few weeks! So I've closed off BabyHosen to new orders until I get myself organised and catch up ... now if I can just get the children to co-operate and let mummy have some sewing time ....

I'm hoping to have a small stocking at MiniCuteture mid February .... then a huge one on the 1st March!
